Understand what your browser may remember and how to manage it.

Cookies are small records that a website or service can store in your browser. Local storage is another browser storage mechanism. Both can retain information between visits, but they are separate from files you choose for a tool.

What storage is used for

  • Saved preferences: PK Tools uses local storage for favourite tools and recently opened tool names. These records do not contain your input files or text.
  • Website operation: WordPress and site services may use cookies for session, security, and consent-related functions. Administrative cookies apply when someone signs into the website dashboard.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics and Jetpack services measure visits and interactions. Cookies or similar identifiers may be used according to the service, browser, settings, and consent choices.
  • Advertising: Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies for ad selection, measurement, personalisation, and abuse prevention.

How long information lasts

Some cookies expire at the end of a session; others persist for a provider-defined period. The exact cookies and durations can vary with location, consent, settings, and changes to the services. Tool preferences remain in local storage until removed or cleared by you or your browser.

Review Google's cookie information and Automattic's Cookie Policy for provider details.

Manage your choices

  1. When a consent message is displayed, review its purposes and providers and use the available choice controls.
  2. Use your browser's site-data settings to delete cookies and local storage for pkgames.app. This also removes your saved and recent tools on that browser.
  3. Manage personalised Google ads in My Ad Center or review participating vendors at YourAdChoices.
  4. Review the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on if you use a supported browser.

Choices can be specific to a browser or device. Clearing browser data can remove stored choices as well as preferences, and blocking storage may affect some features. Turning off personalised ads does not necessarily stop all advertising or technical requests.
