How to use Date difference
Measure the calendar-day gap between two dates for planning or checking a schedule. This calculator works with dates rather than times of day, so it does not measure hours or time-zone offsets. Its day difference excludes the end date; add one yourself if your task requires both boundary dates to be counted.

Date difference: useful answers
Does the result include both boundary dates?
No. It reports the difference between the dates, excluding the end date. An inclusive count needs one additional day.
Does it account for times and time zones?
No. The inputs are calendar dates. The tool does not calculate elapsed hours or apply local time-zone offsets.
