How to use JSON to CSV

Turn a non-empty JSON array of objects into a comma-separated table. Column names come from the combined object keys, and missing fields produce empty cells. Nested values are serialized as JSON text in their cells. Spreadsheet-sensitive values receive a protective apostrophe, so review the exported table before using it.

01

Paste an array of objects

Use input such as [{"name":"Asad","role":"Developer"}].

02

Convert the table

Generate a CSV with headers built from the object keys.

03

Download and inspect the CSV

Save the CSV output and review nested values and protected cells in your spreadsheet.

COMMON QUESTIONS

JSON to CSV: useful answers

Can I convert a single JSON object?

No. This version expects a non-empty array of objects. Wrap one object in an array if it represents a single row.

What happens to nested arrays or objects?

They are exported as JSON text within a CSV cell. The converter does not flatten nested properties into extra columns.
