How to use Sort lines
Arrange a line-separated list in ascending or descending order. The tool uses your browser's locale-aware text comparison and removes blank lines from the sorted result. It does not deduplicate entries or interpret each line as a numeric value, so review mixed numbers and text before using the list.

Sort lines: useful answers
Does sorting remove duplicate entries?
No. Duplicate lines remain in the sorted output. Use Remove duplicate lines if you also need unique entries.
Is this a numeric sorter?
No. It compares lines as text using the browser's locale rules. Numeric-looking entries may not appear in numeric order.
